Kitchen & Bath Design & Sales Position

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and creative Kitchen & Bath Designer & Salesperson with a minimum of 5 years of experience and strong proficiency in 2020 Design software. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a collaborative, customer-focused environment and is passionate about helping clients bring their visions to life.

You’ll work closely with builder and remodeler accounts, as well as retail customers, designing kitchens and bathrooms that combine function, aesthetics, and efficiency. If you’re looking to join a high-performing team with a warm, family feel—this could be the perfect fit.

Location: New Britain, CT (On-site)
Reports to: Vice President of Sales
Job Type: Full-Time
Compensation: Competitive Base + Commission

Responsibilities

  • Meet with clients (builders, remodelers, and homeowners) to understand their design needs and project goals.
  • Develop detailed kitchen and bath designs using 2020 Design software.
  • Provide product knowledge and design guidance tailored to client preferences, project scope, and budget.
  • Create accurate layouts, cabinetry plans, elevations, and material lists.
  • Prepare and present design proposals and estimates for client approval.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to ensure timely and accurate order processing.
  • Manage design revisions, updates, and customer communications throughout the project.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends, product lines, and building code requirements.
  • Deliver exceptional service from initial consultation to project completion.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in kitchen and bath design and sales.
  • Proficiency in 2020 Design software (required).
  • Strong understanding of cabinetry construction, layout principles, and finish materials.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
  • Ability to reliably commute to or relocate to New Britain, CT prior to start.

  • Achievement of sales and gross margin targets.
  • Acquisition and retention of new customers.
  • Development of existing accounts.
  • Consistency and quality in sales reporting.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally to ensure project success and customer satisfaction.
