Middletown Kitchen Gets a Modern-Day Makeover

This Middletown remodel is a great example of how a dated kitchen can be turned into a stunning and functional space that fits today’s lifestyle. Viking Design & Sales Specialist Cindy Wilson helped the homeowners reimagine their kitchen from top to bottom, starting with the cabinetry.

Diamond Vibe’s Kenora door style cabinets in White Painted Hardwood were chosen by the homeowners to replace the original stained cabinets, instantly brightening the entire space. MSI Calacatta Miraggio Gold Quartz countertops make an equally bold statement, paired with a full-height matching backsplash that adds timeless elegance and durability.

Storage was a major focus of this project. Cabinets were extended to meet the peninsula, creating a seamless flow and adding much-needed space to the left of the window. The old coffee station was completely reimagined into a sleek beverage and wine bar with a pantry, floating shelves and a custom wine rack.

A second pantry and new base cabinetry on the opposite wall created even more room for seasonal storage and entertaining essentials. Now, the open layout encourages connection between the kitchen and adjacent sitting room, making it perfect for everyday living and hosting.

This remodel proves that thoughtful design, smart layout changes and beautiful finishes can completely transform the heart of a home!
